In 1952, Ben Hogan began the tradition of the previous year's Masters Champion hosting a dinner for all owners of the prestigious "green jacket".
In 2023, six guests of the Roadside Gourmet will enjoy a cannabis infused re-creation of this year's Masters Dinner designed by 2022's Champion, Scottie Scheffler. Our dinner may not have any "Green Jackets" but there will be plenty of other green to go around!
As is Masters tradition, the previous year's champion designs a menu to serve to all previous winners of the Green Jacket. The meal usually reflects the personality and background of the host and Scottie Scheffler has certainly put together a fun and eclectic menu for 2023! We will be adding our own twists and infusions to his selections and also be matching infused mocktails throughout the meal.
In order to get things "buzzing" we will be infusing this portion of the meal with 10mgs of THC.
To be honest, we have no idea what "Scottie Style" is, so we are taking a bit of creative license with this one by creating a poblano pepper and Oaxaca cheese crema to adorn our beautifully seasoned all beef sliders. Topped with fresh tomato and cilantro these sliders will force us to caution you that there are still four more dishes to come!
Mocktail: The Perfect CBD infused Arnold Palmer (salute the greats!)
Sweet and spicy, juicy and crisp, sticky and delicious are just a few ways to describe this dish. The delicately sauteed shrimp are tossed in our homemade Firecracker sauce (with the level of spice tailored to your comfort level) and served with fluffy white rice.
Mocktail: A light and refreshing CBD, Honeydew Melon and Cucumber slushy will not only calm the heat if you choose to push your limits but will delicately cleanse your palate to prepare you for the main dish!
Please advise us of any dietary restrictions you may have.
We will be infusing this portion of the meal with 2.5mgs of THC and 2.5mgs of CBD.
Topped with avocado, crispy tortilla strips, sour cream, cilantro and lime this tomato-based soup is a palate awakening extravaganza in a bowl. Served with lightly toasted THC buttered toast, you will have full control over your consumption level.
Mocktail: A freshly muddled Mojito (with or without CBD...we'll see how everyone is feeling) combined with this soup, will leave you feeling like you are chillin in Mexico!
At this point of the meal you will need a break. We encourage you to get up and move around as we reset the kitchen and prepare for the next courses.
We will be infusing this portion of the meal with 5mgs of THC and 2.5mgs of CBD.
Whether you choose our cajun style blackened fish or our fire kissed smoked prime rib you will have made the right choice, as both are accompanied by traditional southern sides of creamy mac & cheese, jalapeno creamed corn and fried brussel sprouts.
Mocktail: Our non-alcoholic citrus & CBD kissed sangria will elevate both the beef and the fish to the point that you will say "DAMN, these are perfect together!"
You will be comfortably numb at this point in the meal. If you would like us to pull back on the THC levels, please just let us know.
We will be infusing this portion of the meal with 2.5mgs of THC and 5mgs of CBD.
Served in a warm skillet, this cookie and cream delicacy is the perfect way to top off this Masterful meal. As we wind down the meal we will also be winding down the THC levels with the intention of leaving you comfortably full and comfortable numb!
Mocktail: Cookies and milk meet their perfect match with our Salted Caramel White Russian... mic drop.
You may not have earned a Green Jacket at Augusta, but you have certainly earned a Green Buzz with the RG!
